An emotional but entertaining book about how to treat others. Told from the people around August point of view.
A young ten year old boy; August Pullman, has never been to school due to a terrible face abnormality. Now he’s finally going to a real school, can he prove to everyone inside he’s just an ordinary child? Joining school in 5th grade, students and teachers are surprised when they see Augusts face, there questions and mean names for August don’t go unnoticed. though others don’t know it august is funny, friendly, trustworthy, kind boy.
This book has some funny aspects such as the principles name; Mr. Tushman, and Mr and Mrs Pullmans collage tutor; Mrs Butt. It is quite sad when August describes his face.
The themes of Wonder are friendship and courage. I recommend this book for people who like funny but touching stories.

This sounds like a sad but interesting book. I think it was very wrong for people to treat him that way all I know is that don’t judge a book by its cover!! 🙂
Or don’t judge a boy by his face!
This book sounds amazing 😉
It is, it’s one of the best books I’ve ever read! If you do read it you’ll really enjoy it!
I have seen the film but I really want to read the book amazing report on Wonder!!!
It’s sad why he is treated differently because he looks different.
If he came to our school, would you be friends with August?
