This is a book about a kid called Gregory Heffley and it’s winter, but all does not go as expected. Whilst Greg’s street turns into a battlefield: the Mingo kids and the safety patrol join in everyone joins and swaps teams until it’s free for all. But the real question is who will betray the hill kids?
This book is full of comedy and adventure. Jeff Kinney is amazing at describing everything. My favourite part is when the lower Surry Street kids sneak past the hill kids to go sledging down their hill, so the hill kids build something to defend the hill, but who will betray them ? I really enjoyed this book because i always wish Jeff Kinney made more because they’re always really funny.
I would recommend this book to Year 4 to Year 7. If you love hilarious stories you will definitely like this book.
I have read this Diary of a Wimpy Kid! I love it! They are my favourite scenes as well!

I just got this book for Christmas I loved it. I like your review. I think you described the book really well without giving to much away. To improve I think you should check what you’ve already said because you ask about who will betray the hill kids twice. But other than that great job!
